What is a Crop Protection?

It is the Branch of horticulture which is concerned with protecting crops from pests, insects, weeds, and diseases. Use of “crop protecting” agents improves yield and quality of agricultural products, consumer preferences Prevents the spread of diseases to crops and livestock (Pierce’s Disease).

Cause of Crop Infection:
